Exclusive Fly Fishing Waters
Lower Provo
Below the Deer Creek Reservoir dam lies one of the most incredible fishing experiences in the State of Utah. Over millions of years, the Provo has cut a breathtaking canyon through the Wasatch Mountains. Now, the Provo sits at the bottom of these 10,000 ft peaks and is full of Brown, Rainbow and Cutthroat trout. This section of the Provo has been labeled "Blue Ribbon Water" due to the enormous numbers of trout per mile. The lower Provo is not a secret and therefore, should be avoided on weekends during the summer months.
Middle Provo
The Middle Provo is the stretch of the Provo that runs from Jordanelle Reservoir dam to Deer Creek Reservoir. Although the Middle Provo does not have the numbers of fish the lower Provo has, huge brown trout live in this stretch of the Provo.
Upper Provo
Above Jordanelle Reservoir sits the upper Provo. Because of the spring runoff, our guides fish the upper Provo starting in June. The Upper Provo is less crowded than the lower Provo, but just as much fun. When fishing the upper Provo, crowds will be minimal, views will be incredible and fishing will be fantastic. The trout on the upper Provo average 12". Park City Excursions has an exclusive commercial guiding license for the most productive parts of the Upper Provo.
Weber River
The Weber River is perhaps the most under-rated rivers in Utah. The Weber lies a mere 15 miles from Park City and is known for its beautiful Brown Trout. Park City Excursions knows the best "holes" in the Weber River and will take you there.
Pidmont Paradise
Just an hour drive from Park City, Utah lies a fly fisherman's Stillwater paradise. This exclusive 180 acre lake is holds brown, rainbow, brook and tiger trout. These fish are wild, big and can be challenging, but once you hook one, hold on and get ready for an experience of a lifetime. If you're looking for more than just your average sized private pond where the fish are big but don't provide a true challenge, then this is the experience you're looking for. Access is limited to no more than 15 anglers a day, so reservations are required
